Special Application Requirements for International Students
  • All materials should be submitted at least one month prior to the published deadlines to allow adequate time for the evaluation of credentials, preparation of the Certificate of Eligibility (I-20) and processing of the visa.
  • International applicants who require an F-1 Student Visa are highly encouraged to submit their completed applications as early as possible.
  • All application materials (university records, bank statements, letters of recommendation, etc.) that are not in English should be accompanied by a certified translation.
  • Full-time students who will require an F-1 Student Visa or J-1 Visa must submit a notarized Affidavit of Support accompanied by original documentation that supports the information on the affidavit. (Supporting documentation includes personal bank statements, sponsorships, or financial awards.)
  • It is imperative that all documentation be in their original formats. Copies and facsimiles cannot be accepted.

  • All international applicants whose undergraduate studies were taught in a country outside of the United States are required to submit a World Education Services (WES) evaluation of their undergraduate transcripts.
