The Office of Career Management is dedicated to preparing our students to compete effectively and successfully for a wider range and higher caliber of career opportunities.
Preparation for the Job Search
Our students are strongly encouraged to start preparing for the job search from the time they start their studies. At the Orientation Career Workshop, new students will become familiar with the range of career services available, the skills that they will want to master, and how to plan their job search efforts for internships and full-time employment after graduation. We believe that students should not only learn about the self-marketing skills needed to be successful in the job market, but they should also take advantage of the opportunities provided here to practice and gain mastery of these skills while they are students. The career management skills mastered while at Fordham are designed to serve our graduates throughout their career.
