The Office of Career Management is committed to providing students access to job and internship opportunities and to helping students master the skills needed to successfully market themselves to employers.

The Office of Career Management delivers a full range of services to support students as they target their career direction, gain proficiency in effective networking and prepare for job interviews. Career services are available to all current full-time and part-time GBA students, including students in Fordham’s Executive MBA program.

We offer comprehensive Career Management workshops throughout the year as well as one-on-one career counseling appointments, which may be focused on career planning, strengths assessment, resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, networking and more. Our office sponsors industry speakers and networking events during the year and collaborates with student clubs on special-event programming. In addition, we provide opportunities for students to connect with alumni, including informational interviews, industry and career panels, networking events, mock interviews and site visits.

On-Campus Recruiting services provided for current GBA students include:
  • Company Information Sessions
    • Employer representatives visit campus to provide a company overview, discuss opportunities and meet students
  • Interview Prep Sessions
    • Our staff provides candidates guidance on preparing for specific on-campus interviews
  • On-campus Interviews
    • Following the Company Information Session, employers post job opportunities and select candidates for first-round on-campus interviews from among the student applicants
