James
R. Lothian received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in economics from the
University of Chicago and his B.A. magna cum laude from the Catholic
University of America.
Lothian is an active researcher in the area of international
monetary economics and international finance and an award-winning teacher
at Fordham. He has published
widely in both academic publications and the financial press.
He has been at Fordham since
1990 and has been the Editor of Journal
of International Money and Finance since 1986.
Prior to becoming a full-time academic, he was Vice President in
charge of financial research at Citibank/Citicorp.
He also has been a Research Associate of the National Bureau of
Economic Research, and a Visiting Scholar at the IMF, the Federal Reserve
Bank of |
