Specialization in International Business

Owing to the rapid and dramatic integration of the global economy, the Graduate School of Business Administration has enriched its curriculum, infusing essential international issues into its courses. This process mirrors the evolution of the worldwide economic environment, where the distinction between international and domestic business is swiftly diminishing.

Because the school recognizes that students seek specific careers in international business today, it created the International Business (IB) designation. The school believes that for a career in global business, often the best preparation combines a concentration in a functional area of the curriculum, underpinned by highly focused international courses available in specific international business subject areas. The IB designation is a specialization that can be earned by MBA students who complete five additional designated International Business courses.
