In the summer of 1998, Fordham University Graduate School of Business announced an exciting new alliance with the preeminent international business program in the country, the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona. The joint MBA/MIM with Thunderbird (Masters of International Management) combines the strengths of both programs as well as the resources of both alumni networks.
Students are required to apply and be accepted to both schools. Accepted students to the dual-degree program complete the combined degrees in a reduced period of time by the mutual transfer of 12 elective credits between both schools. In some cases, the two degrees can be obtained in as little as 18 months.
Students are best served by beginning their studies at Fordham and finishing at Thunderbird. Dual-degree students must meet the individual graduation requirements of both schools and are required to complete a minimum of 45 credits at Fordham University and a minimum of 30 credits at Thunderbird.
