The MS in Taxation is an ideal opportunity for the student who wishes to earn a master's degree and become an expert on taxation. The program attracts professional accountants who want to expand their expertise in taxation, as well as graduates of other undergraduate disciplines who want to pursue a profession in taxation.

It is important to note, however, that the MS in Taxation is not designed simply to help students acquire detailed knowledge of taxation, but also to develop a broad understanding of the growing complexities of international taxation issues, and the important role taxation plays in business strategy at all levels. Courses in this program include business law, marketing management and business policy.

The program is available to students who have had no formal business and accounting education. For those professionals who have had business and accounting courses, it may be possible to waive prerequisite and core courses.
