Successful GBA students are self-directed and possess the ability to adapt to an ever-changing business environment. The Admissions Committee makes an individualized review of each candidate's professional goals, managerial and leadership abilities and academic potential.
To be considered for admission, candidates must possess the equivalent of a four-year, United States baccalaureate degree from an accredited undergraduate institution, and must have taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). All undergraduate majors are given equal consideration. Professional or full-time business experience is desirable and can be an important consideration in the admissions process. Recently admitted students have had an average of six years' work experience prior to beginning their MBA studies. If the applicant is a recent graduate, Fordham looks for realistic and well-defined career objectives.
