Information Sessions

At Fordham Graduation School of Business , we understand that many of your questions cannot be answered by a website alone. There may be times when you want to speak directly to a Fordham Admissions Representative. Therefore, we host monthly General Information Sessions as well as weekly One-on-One Sessions, and Concentration & Program Specific Sessions. All events are wonderful opportunities to meet not only with Admissions Representatives but with faculty, current students, and Career Services Representatives.

If it is difficult for you to make it to New York for one of our sessions, there is a very good chance that a traveling representative from the school will be in a city near you very soon. Or you can use Instant Messenger to ask your question now.

General Information Sessions

These sessions offer you the opportunity to hear the Director of Admissions discuss admissions policies and procedures, as well as topics ranging from financial aid to housing and from GBA degrees to certificate program options. Also on hand will be administrators, including the Director of Career Services and academic program directors. Current students are available to offer their valuable perspective. At the completion of the session, time will be allowed for individual questions and answers.

One-on-One Sessions

Not every question can or should be asked in a group-session format. Therefore, Fordham Graduate School of Business offers prospective candidates the unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with the Admissions Director during any stage of the admissions process. One-on-one sessions are scheduled every Wednesday evening.

Concentration & Program Specific Sessions

When prospective applicants want to go beyond general information, these sessions enable them to learn more about the strengths of specific program offerings. MBA candidates can learn about concentrations like Finance or Marketing or programs like the MS in Media Management or the Global Professional MBA from the faculty who teach them.

Traveling Representatives

Committed to meeting as many potential students as possible, representatives from maintain a very robust travel schedule. Representatives participate in organized MBA Fairs, meet informally with prospective students one-on-one, and conduct official interviews with those candidates who have an application on file. Last year, visited more than 25 cities in the United States and around the world.
