Pre-MBA Programs

The Pre-MBA program consists of three prerequisite courses, Mathematical Methods for Business, Statistics and Managerial Economics, which count as part of the Fordham MBA requirements when you enroll in our program. Students are not required to take all three courses prior to application and enrollment in the MBA program.  Any course work not taken will roll over into the student’s MBA program of study if admitted to the program. Although admission to the Pre-MBA program does not guarantee admission to the MBA program, the Admissions Committee will review the applicant’s performance in the Pre-MBA coursework completed in reviewing the MBA application.

Application requirements listed below relate only to the Pre-MBA program, a unique opportunity for prospective candidates to preview their MBA degree.

Participation in the Pre-MBA does not guarantee admission to the Business School. Therefore, students are required to submit a full MBA application in order to be considered for admission.

Transcripts

Applicants are required to submit transcripts for all course work that counted towards undergraduate- and graduate-level degrees. The transcripts must be forwarded to the Fordham Graduate School of Business Admissions Office in their official and original format with either the signature or seal of the university’s registrar across the seal of the envelope. Any transcripts not received in this format will be considered void. Applicants submitting transcripts that are in a foreign language must have the transcripts translated into English by an official translating service (i.e. World Education Services). Both the original and translated versions must be submitted in their official formats. While transcripts from Continuing Education Programs are not required, applicants may submit such transcripts as supplemental information.

Professional Resume

Resumes should be submitted in a professional format and include contact information (name, address, phone, fax, email), educational background, work experience, and skills.

Application Fee

Application fee payment must be made by check or money order payable to Fordham University. The $65 application fee is nonrefundable. Fee waivers are not provided. Please note that if you apply and are admitted to the Pre-MBA Program, then your application fee to one of our degree-granting programs (MBA or MS) is waived.
