Eligibility and Acceptance

The MBA Consulting Program is open to full-time and part-time students at both the Lincoln Center and Tarrytown campuses. Students from all concentrations are encouraged to apply as each project involves a team approach and integrates all facets of the Fordham Graduate School of Business curriculum.

Students who have satisfactorily completed half of the credits (30 credits) for their MBA prior to the beginning of the term during which the project will take place are eligible to apply for acceptance into the course. Participants will be selected on the basis of achievement at Fordham Graduate School of Business and at other academic institutions, combined with professional skills and previous accomplishments. Resumes from Consulting Program candidates are also required to enable the director to integrate consulting teams with respect to various majors and degrees of business experience. The final stage of the selection process may include an interview with the program director.

Participating students will represent Fordham to the outside business community. Thus, the highest level of professionalism is expected of the individuals chosen for the program. In addition, in keeping with the standards of the consulting profession, students will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality during and after their consulting engagement.
