EMBA Letter from the Director
Dear Prospective Student:
Welcome to Fordham’s Executive MBA (EMBA) Program. We are happy to have you visit and learn more about our program and our unique community.
First of all, this is a full MBA in Management with its own set of bells and whistles. It is a tightly organized course of study to give you the maximum business-learning experience in 22 months. It is designed for the mid-range executive on a fast track to challenging assignments and responsibilities.
A couple of characteristics distinguish the EMBA from our classic Fordham MBA program:
- > The average age of an EMBA students is 33 vs. 28 in the traditional MBA
- > EMBAs have worked already for 11 years
- > Current salaries of EMBA students average above the $120K mark
- > Students in the EMBA Program travel the academic journey together which leads to a wonderful camaraderie and tight bond within each cohort.
The EMBA program is perfect for the advancing business professional who does not want to stop now for an MBA but nonetheless, needs more business know-how to further career successes.
Classes meet one full weekend a month (including Fridays), at either Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan or at the Westchester Campus in West Harrison, New York. There is a final international residential, which serves as a capstone pedagogical experience and wonderful way to complete your academic journey. Unlike other executive-style courses, employer sponsorship is not required for admission.
