There are scheduled breaks throughout the class sessions, and lunch is provided each weekend.
There are three sessions throughout the program offered at a conference center right outside New York City. The residentials at the conference center are designed for courses that provide a conducive environment in a retreat-type setting. These residentials begin late morning on Thursday and continue until 5:00 pm on Sunday. Throughout these residentials, EMBA students will have access to all the amenities of the conference center including the business center and health spa.
China is the selected location for the final residential. This capstone is approximately five days in length. EMBA students are usually required to take off one full week from work. China is the selected destination due to Fordham’s unique relationship and partnership with the Beijing International MBA Program as well as the opportunities of China’s bustling economy. In the past, this residential has included student consultancy projects and company visits to multiple cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
