Biography

Elizabeth Cosenza is an Assistant Professor of Legal and Ethical Studies. She graduated from Harvard Law School in 2001, where she was Senior Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. Professor Cosenza received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Fordham University, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Valedictorian of the Fordham College Class of 1998.  A former Truman Scholar and Rhodes Scholar finalist, Professor Cosenza entered into private practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell upon graduation from law School.  Her areas of specialization included Securities Law and Mergers and Acquisitions.  Professor Cosenza teaches Legal Framework of Business and Securities Law and has served on the School of Business’ Executive Committee. She is fluent in Portuguese and has advanced knowledge of spoken and written French as well as basic knowledge of spoken and written Spanish.
