Biography

Maya Waisman is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Fordham University. Maya Joined Fordham after completing her Ph.D. in Finance at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Her research interests include empirical corporate finance, financial intermediation, international equity offerings, fixed income securities and CEO compensation. Professor Waisman is currently teaching Investments and Security Analysis and Corporate Financial Policy. She has received awards for both research and teaching.
