Biography

Sharon Livesey teaches Negotiation & Conflict Resolution, Cross-Cultural Negotiation and Communication, and Management Communication at the Graduate School of Business; and Business Communication, and Entrepreneurial Communication and Negotiation at the College of Business. Her research focuses on discourse and social change; the role of business in sustainable development; and conflict and collaboration involving business and civil society groups. She has served on the faculty at the Fordham Schools of Business since 1996. In 2007, she was awarded the Gladys and Henry Crown Award for Faculty Excellence. Prior to joining the Fordham faculty, she taught at Harvard Business School for six years. Before that, she worked as for a law firm that represented a variety of unions ranging from Teamster locals, to AFTRA-SAG, to school secretaries.
