Biography

EVERETTE E. DENNIS is the Distinguished Felix E. Larkin Professor at Fordham’s Graduate school of business where he directs the Center for Communication and serves as area chair for the Communication and Media Management MBA/MS program.  He was founding director of the Media Studies Center at Columbia University, founding president of the American Academy in Berlin, a former dean of the School of Journalism at the University of Oregon and a full professor at the University of Minnesota where he was director of graduate studies in mass communication.  He is author, co-author and editor of many books and scholarly articles on media industries, media law and regulation, and related topics.  He has also written and lectured widely on media education as well as business education.  He is a former president of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. He has been listed in every edition of Who’s Who in America form 1985 to the present.  He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on several boards and advisory committees.
