Biography

Dr. Schiff is Area Chairman of Accounting and Taxation at the Schools of Business at Fordham University. The faculty currently includes 18 full-time and 33 adjunct professors.              

Dr. Schiff also serves as the Director of the MBA Consulting Program. This program is designed to enable MBA students to work in consulting teams, to analyze real business problems and recommend appropriate actions for both National and Global client companies.          

Dr. Schiff is also the Academic Director of the Masters of Taxation programs at the Graduate School of Business. These programs include a Masters of Science in Taxation as well as a Masters in Accounting and Taxation. The latter is a dual MBA in Professional Accounting and MS in Taxation.                                

Dr. Schiff’s research reflects his keen interest in academic and professional facets of financial and managerial accounting.  His articles have appeared in leading academic (e.g. The Accounting Review) and professional journals (e.g. Journal of Accountancy).  Additionally, he served as a Faculty Fellow at PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He has also served as an outside Director and an Audit Committee member of two publicly traded companies.
