Why should you recycle your old cell phone?  1) Reuse - approximately 60% of recovered cell phones have resale value in Latin America and GRC distributes recovered cell phones to wireless markets in need of inexpensive refurbished cell phones.  2) Refining - approximately 40% of recovered cell phones do not have a resale value.  These phones are processed through GRC's environmentally responsible refining program that oversees shredding, smelting, and metals refining for non-reusable cell phones.  3) Responsible battery recycling - batteries are processed according to EPA guidelines for the proper disposal and recycling of rechargeable batteries.  If you have any questions feel free to contact Net Impact at fordhamni@gmail.com.
