These highly subsidized loans are made with the understanding that upon completion of their studies, beneficiaries commit to repay the loan in full and return to their home countries to apply their knowledge and training to the economic and social advancement of the developing countries within the Americas.

  • Supplementary aid of up to US$15,000 (for living expenses, tuition, or emergencies not covered by their principal source of finance)
  • Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round –there are no deadlines.
  • Loans are granted for graduate and undergraduate studies.

Special Announcement:

Special Announcement – Student Achievements
Fordham's Pandora's Wish Team was awarded first place in the 2008-2009 Baruch/Merrill Lynch Invitational Business Plan Competition. Over 100 concepts were submitted from the 13 area schools invited. The Pandora's Wish Team was lead by Founder & CEO Amanda Allen, and supported by Noa Walsky, Jennifer Klein, Erik Kopelman as well as two non-students, Robard Williams and Rob Brueckmann. Pandora's Wish is a one-of-a-kind, NYC-based wedding registry service that connects a network of local merchants with Metropolitan brides through a purpose-built web application, providing a combination of choice, convenience and personalization. Fordham Professors that mentored the team include: Sertan Kabadayi, Susan Couch, Scot Perlin, Wullianallur Raghupathi, Kate McKeown, Christina Tan and Laura Gonzalez.
