Technology Driving Corporate Philanthropy: An Evening with Charles B. Wang and Brian F. Mullaney, Founders of Smile Train

Charles B. Wang, former Chairman and CEO of Computer Associates, and Brian F. Mullaney, former CEO of Schell/Mullaney Advertising, are both business leaders who combined technology and entrepreneurship to successfully guide their careers and companies to astounding success. When the two came together over ten years ago to create Smile Train the world's largest cleft lip and cleft palate organization, they collaborated on a new model to revolutionize philanthropy and the way that clefts are treated on a global scale. These highly subsidized loans are made with the understanding that upon completion of their studies, beneficiaries commit to repay the loan in full and return to their home countries to apply their knowledge and training to the economic and social advancement of the developing countries within the Americas.
- Supplementary aid of up to US$15,000 (for living expenses, tuition, or emergencies not covered by their principal source of finance)
- Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round –there are no deadlines.
- Loans are granted for graduate and undergraduate studies.
- Scholars, researchers, and professionals are also eligible for exchange programs and professional development courses lasting minimum one academic semester.

Real Estate Club: Lincoln Center Campus Development Panel

As many of you know, Fordham is currently seeking approval from New York City’s Planning Commission and the City Council on its proposed expansion of the Lincoln Center Campus. The Real Estate Club has put together a panel discuss with those most directly involved in the project. Come listen to those most directly involved in this exciting project speak about the process.
