This interactive workshop will provide information to ensure YOUR resume and cover letter get the attention they deserve. Presidents’ Day – University closed

Loan Announcement
MBA and MS students registered for six or more credits and who are either a US citizen or Permanent Resident of the US are eligible to borrow $5000 per academic year. Interest on the loan (8%) does not accrue while a student is enrolled for six or more credits per trimester. Interest and principal payments begin after a 6-month grace period following graduation or if enrollment drops below the six-credit minimum (except during trimesters when a student is doing an internship). The application was emailed to you the week of January 7th. Please complete the form and return it to the Admissions Office at 33 West 60th Street, 4th floor, New York, NY 10023. The application deadline is Feb 19. Please contact the Admissions Office at (212)-636-6200 with questions.
National Society of Hispanic MBAs Scholarship Program
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) provides financial assistance to outstanding Hispanics pursuing an MBA. To be eligible, you must be: a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident, of Hispanic heritage, a current NSHMBA member, and meet NSHMBA's GPA requirements. This is not a Fordham-managed scholarship. Latin America and Caribbean students: The Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund
These highly subsidized loans are made with the understanding that upon completion of their studies, beneficiaries commit to repay the loan in full and return to their home countries to apply their knowledge and training to the economic and social advancement of the developing countries within the Americas.
- Supplementary aid of up to US$15,000 (for living expenses, tuition, or emergencies not covered by their principal source of finance)
- Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round –there are no deadlines.
- Loans are granted for graduate and undergraduate studies.
- Scholars, researchers, and professionals are also eligible for exchange programs and professional development courses lasting minimum one academic semester.

International Business Week
From Feb. 11th to Feb. 14th, G.L.O.B.E. in co-sponsorship with The Deans' Office of College of Business Administration and New American Age Lecture Serie present the third annual International Business Week. It is a week full of events about diverse cultures in celebration of international business. It aims to bring prominent speakers to campus to present on the business and culture differences when conducting business abroad. The goal is to help student develop the global competency needed to compete in a rapidly globalized business market. Click here for more information.

Black History Month Event: African Burial Ground Tours
The BHMBA Club encourages you to join them for a tour of the African Burial Ground is located in Lower Manhattan, close to Foley Square and just north of City Hall. Tours are scheduled for Sat. My Professor: Communications and Media Management
John Fortunato
Fortunato co-wrote “A communication plan for autism and its applied behavior analysis treatment: A framing strategy” with Jeff Sigafoos & Lisa Morsillo-Searls; it was published in Child and Youth Care Forum’s volume 36. With Jef Richards, Fortunato wrote “Reconciling sports sponsorship exclusivity with antitrust law,” which was included inVolume 8 of the Texas Review of Entertainment & Sports Law.
Sharon Livesey
Livesey delivered a paper with Julie Graham titled "Transforming the Firm: Corporate Eco-Talk and Eco-Collaboration" at the International Communication Association (ICA) annual meeting. At the Academy of Management annual meeting she delivered a paper entitled "Doing 'Good' in California’s Sacramento Valley—The Changing Landscape of American Farming.” Finally, Livesey and co-author, Molly Shearer delivered "Nor Any Drop to Drink? An Exploration of the U.S. Water Privatization Debate” at the Association for Business Communication annual meeting.
