Save the Date: Spring 2008 Tri - Campus Career & Internship Fair

Location: McGinley Center Ballroom, Rose Hill Campus
The Spring 2008 event will be located at the Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx, and will be open to students of all majors from Fordham’s three campuses: Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan, and Marymount campus in Tarrytown, New York. This fair is open to all organizations that are recruiting for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities for all majors. Registration for the fair will ONLY be accepted via our online registration, which opens Friday, November 30th. The registration deadline is Friday, January 25th, 2008.

This new speaker series is generously funded by Sander Flaum, Adjunct Professor & member of the Board of Advisors. The format is informal and interactive with a focus on leadership. Prior to IAB, Rothenberg was Booz Allen Hamilton’s Senior Director, Intellectual Capital. Rothenberg also spent six years at The New York Times as an editor, columnist, and reporter. My Professors - Finance
Sris Chatterjee
With An Yan, Chatterjee co-wrote “Using Innovative Securities under Asymmetric Information: Why do some firms pay with contingent value rights?” which was accepted for publication by the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. In addition, Chatterjee participated in the Financial Management Association Meeting in October as both a Session Chair/Discussant and as a presenter: “Revisiting the Momentum Puzzle: Some Unique Evidence on Momentum and Monthly Return” with co-author Nusret Cakici.
Sinan Tan
Tan’s co-author Anthony Lynch, NYU, presented their paper "Explaining the Magnitude of Liquidity Premia: The Roles of Return Predictability, Wealth Shocks and State-dependent Transaction Costs " at Yale University School of Management in October. "Labor Income Dynamics at Business Cycle Frequencies: Implications for Portfolio Choice", also written with Lynch, was accepted into the American Finance Association’s 2008 Annual Meeting.
