O’Donnell recently closed a round of venture capital financing--quite a feat given the ecoomic times. He is currently ranked at #61 on the Silicon Alley Insider 100 list of influentials in NYC technology and has been featured in The Deal and Crain's Business on the topic of entrepreneurship and networking. NSHMBA 2009 Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs is how you afford your MBA! The 2009 application will be available online from February 1 through April 30, 2009. NSHMBA provides financial assistance to outstanding Hispanics pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent. In 2008, over $1.4 million in financial assistance was awarded to students around the country, aiding them in beginning or completing their degrees. These highly subsidized loans are made with the understanding that upon completion of their studies, beneficiaries commit to repay the loan in full and return to their home countries to apply their knowledge and training to the economic and social advancement of the developing countries within the Americas.
- Supplementary aid of up to US$15,000 (for living expenses, tuition, or emergencies not covered by their principal source of finance)
- Applications are accepted and reviewed year-round –there are no deadlines.
- Loans are granted for graduate and undergraduate studies.
- Scholars, researchers, and professionals are also eligible for exchange programs and professional development courses lasting minimum one academic semester.
