Advances in Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is always a hot-ticket item in business, and many MBA students are eager to learn more about how they can start their own business in today’s market. Now, thanks to the generous support of Bert Twaalfhoven, a College of Business Administration alumnus and resident of the Netherlands, we can provide answers with the Bert Twaalfhoven Center for Entrepreneurship. Twaalfhoven has founded 51 high tech companies in 11 countries. He is truly a global entrepreneur, and with his help the School of Business at Fordham University will be able to enhance our entrepreneurship offerings.

A second center that Twaalfhoven is also supporting focuses on family-owned businesses. The Center for Family-Owned & Closely Held Business caters to the specialized needs of family businesses. By providing relevant seminar topics led by premier family-business experts and facilitators, members have the opportunity to meet regularly, attend seminars and workshops, and network with fellow family-owned and closely-held businesses.

If you are interested in learning more about Twaalfhoven’s Center, please contact Elizabeth Ingrassia at elizabethingrassia@yahoo.com.
