Citizens Financial Group, Inc. announced several key management changes including that Ellen Alemany, CEO of RBS Americas, will also assume the role of CEO of Citizens Financial Group.

Newtek Business Services, Inc. announced that it has hired Jayne L. Cavuoto to implement and direct a strategic investor relations program for the Company.
James Davella ('07)
Shawmut Design and Construction hired James Davella as their new Director of Foodservice Equipment and Design.
Harriet (formerly Bonnel) Edelman ('80)
Brinker International, Inc. announced the election of Harriet Edelman to its board of directors.
Todd Germano (’00)
Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd announced the appointment of Todd Germano as Senior Vice President, Specialty Insurance of Allied World U.S.
Thomas Greco (’90)
Thomas Greco has been named as the new European Head of GE Commercial Finance’s Leveraged Finance activities.
Barbara Grodd (’82)
Barbara Grodd has been named Senior Director of Development for the North Shore-LIJ Health System Foundation.

David Landau & Associates broadened its management team with the hire of former Grant Thornton partner RoAnna Pascher, CPA, as Director of the Internal Audit & Accounting Advisory Group.
Mark Santiago ('79)
David Landau & Associates, LLC announced that Mark Santiago joined the Firm as a Managing Director to lead the firm’s Professional Services Practice.
Dayle Scher (’89)
TowerGroup announced the addition of a new senior analyst to its Investment Management research service, Dayle Scher.

LaPolla Industries, Inc. has appointed Paul Smiertka as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Richard A. Stewart (‘87)
Advisors Asset Management is pleased to announce that Richard A. Stewart, CFA, will join the firm as Senior Vice President responsible for all aspects of the AAM UIT business, including sales, trading and product development.
Kevin King (‘81)
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) has appointed Kevin King as the new Head of Risk Management.

Dean's Forum:
The myth that summers are slow for academic institutions was thoroughly disproved at the Graduate School as we busily prepared for this new academic year.
I would like to thank everyone at the School for the dedication I’ve seen over the past two years. You have all shown a commitment to the strategic plans we have laid forth, and I am happy to say that we are moving forward – achieving our goals and identifying new ones.

For those of you who may not have heard, the Graduate School of Business has started an alumni networking group out of the Dean’s Office. This organization – called the World Wise Network, or WWN – has already helped reconnect hundreds of alumni in the past six months. In April, Dean Tuckman hosted the first WWN Alumni Networking Reception, which was held at the Princeton Club. Nearly 100 Graduate School of Business alumni and their guests were in attendance.
