School Update

Since our last newsletter, we have made wonderful strides towards achieving our alumni goals. The first is the addition of Stephanie Cziczo, Special Groups Liaison. She is part of our Communications Office in Lowenstein Hall, and she is working to build a bridge between alumni and current students. We have also developed a new alumni networking community called the World Wise Network (WWN), which you can read more about in this newsletter.

One of our most important achievements affects alumni and students alike. We have hired Tom Monaco, the new Career Services Director for the school, who is highlighted in this issue. Tom has already shown direction and drive to meet the needs of students, alumni, and recruiters.

As we build our support team here in Lowenstein Hall, Dean Tuckman continues his efforts to expand our international reach. He has recently traveled to China and India working on strengthening our ties with renowned universities. Potential new international dual degree programs are in the works, and we continue to strengthen our offerings to students.

We have kept the momentum going in the first half of our academic year, and we have many events and activities planned for the spring trimester. If you have any ideas for events or any questions about school happenings, please contact our Communications Team at gradbusiness@fordham.edu.
