Fordham Wall Street Council

	History, Mission and Purpose The Fordham Wall Street Council (FWSC) was formed in 2010 by the Graduate School of Business Administration (GBA) to foster collaboration among GBA students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends interested in the various sectors of the capital markets. The council strives to strengthen the educational and fundraising mission of the University and to enhance career opportunities for students and alumni around the world. There are many benefits to joining the FWSC. Participants meet and mentor top MBA candidates and help equity research groups and student investment portfolios. There is also the opportunity to give back to Fordham, both by helping to educate the next generation of financial leaders and by supporting the programs that make GBA one of the best business schools in New York City. The council is also a way to get involved with GBA faculty to enhance their academic research efforts. Involvement will help boost GBA's visibility and mission. Participation is also a good way to network with peers and to enhance one's own career opportunities. Terms of Engagement and Code of Conduct This is a forum for constructively sharing ideas, thoughts and industry insight. If you are currently looking to fill job openings, we encourage you to use the FWSC group. We ask, however, that you do not use the forum for promoting yourself to a wider audience. We understand that people have strong opinions about many issues in the financial world. We encourage you to engage in dialogue, but please remember to keep the dialogue professional, appropriate and constructive. Interaction with the group and its individual members is outside of Fordham's control and not the opinion of the University, its staff or its faculty.
