FORDHAM GBA LOAN
The Fordham GBA Loan is an institutional loan administered by the Office of Admissions of the Graduate School of Business Administration and serviced through ACS, Inc. It is available to MBA and MS students who need additional funds to supplement Direct Stafford Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans or tuition reimbursement plans. 20 loans are available for the Fall trimester and 10 loans are available for the Spring trimester.
Domestic (US citizens or Permanent Residents of the US) degree-seeking students who are enrolled in at least six (6) credits at the time of application can borrow $5,000 per academic year at an interest rate of 8%. The interest does not accrue while a student is enrolled for six or more credits per trimester. Awards are determined both on merit and financial need. Interest and principal payments begin after a six-month grace period following graduation or if enrollment drops below six credits per trimester, excluding official leaves of absence. Unfortunately, non-degree, Pre-MBA, visiting and international students are not eligible to apply. A student cannot have more than one GBA loan during his/her studies at Fordham.
