	Interested in getting your MBA but not really sure if it will be right for you? The Pre-MBA Program permits candidates to sign up for three prerequisite courses without committing to the complete MBA program in advance. The three courses that comprise the Pre-MBA Program are Mathematical Methods for Business, Statistics and Managerial Economics. You should consider taking the Pre-MBA Program: To get a jumpstart on your MBA Program. To brush up on your academic/quantitative abilities. To find out if an MBA is right for you. Participation in the Pre-MBA does not guarantee admission to the Business School. Therefore, students are required to submit a full MBA application in order to be considered for admission. Pre-MBA students are eligible for only the three prerequisite classes specified below. Students are eligible to enroll for two consecutive trimesters only. If a Pre-MBA student subsequently is admitted to one of our full degree-granting programs, the prerequisite course already taken counts toward the program of study and overall GPA. Pre-MBA Courses Mathematical Methods for Business - Students study the fundamental methods of mathematics applied in business statistics and operations research. The course concentrates on linear algebra and differential and integral calculus. Statistics - This course introduces students to basic statistical concepts essential for business research and decision-making. Concepts include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, statistical inference, and simple and multiple regression. Managerial Economics - This course explains microeconomic theory and concepts that strive to explain the economic decisions of businesses in the marketplace. The course is designed to provide the economic foundation for management decisions, addressing the factors of supply and demand, production costs, output, and market structures to pricing.
