MS in Quantitative Finance
| |
The Master of Science in Quantitative Finance (MSQF) at Fordham Graduate School of Business is a full-time program developed with the help of financial institutions to ensure that the program targets key areas of employer need. With their feedback, we crafted a program that produces highly marketable, industry-savvy business professionals. The program can be completed in as little as one year, but, due to the heavy workload, most students prefer to complete it in 1.5 to 2 years.
Prospective employers include major investment banks, commercial banks, money managers, hedge funds, and other companies. These establishments have a need for professionals with very strong quantitative skills and a deep knowledge of finance.
MSQF Trading Floor
Students of the MSQF Program have access to a state-of-the-art, 28-seat trading floor that simulates the real-world finance professional’s working environment in an educational setting. With multiple Bloomberg terminals, live data feeds and price quotations from global equities, fixed income and FX markets, and wireless internet, it is the optimal environment for students to learn the application of sophisticated quantitative models in finance.
