U.S. News Ranks Fordham GBA #14 in Finance, #23 in Marketing

In the 2012 Best Business Schools Specialty Rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked GBA among the top 50 business schools in Finance, Marketing and Part-time MBA programs.

Based on its survey of all 437 AACSB-accredited master's programs, U.S. News & World Report ranked Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration's Finance program at #14, our Marketing program at #23, and our Part-time MBA program as #50 in the U.S.

Specialty rankings are based on ratings by graduate business school deans and directors of accredited master's programs. They were asked to nominate up to 10 programs for excellence in twelve specialty areas: Finance, Marketing, Production/Operations, Entrepreneurship, Executive MBA, Part-time MBA, Supply Chain/Logistics, Information Systems, Accounting, International, Management, and Nonprofit.

Dean David A. Gautschi praised the strong showing by Fordham: "Fordham Finance ranked 14th in the survey, tied with the Tuck School (Dartmouth). This is an extraordinary accomplishment that places Fordham Finance ahead of such strong programs as those at Yale, Cornell, Indiana, Rochester, Texas, and Southern California." He added "Fordham Marketing ranked 23rd for the second straight year, tied with the University of Florida, and right behind the University of Maryland. This, too, is an exceptional accomplishment, demonstrating that the productivity of Fordham's marketing faculty and the relevance of its academic programs are valued by key assessors in the world of practice and in the world of scholarship."
