John Devereux • Professor of Economics at Queens College, CUNY |
John Devereux is Professor of Economics at Queens College, CUNY. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1989 and his B.A. from Trinity College Dublin with first class honors in 1980. Prior to joining Queens College, he was Assistant and later Associate Professor at the University of Miami.
His current research interests are in the areas of economic growth and economic development and economic history. Articles of his on these and other subjects have appeared in the American Economic Review, the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of Economic History. the Journal of International Money and Finance, the Journal of Money Credit and Banking, Oxford Economic Papers, and Public Choice.
